EYYES is ADAC test winner for truck blind-spot assistants!
Blind-spot assistants can prevent accidents between trucks, buses and cyclists. The systems are also available as retrofit solutions and are subsidised by the state.
Unfortunately, it happens time and again that lorries and buses overlook cyclists when turning. In collisions with a lorry, around 70 cyclists die in Germany every year and 665 are seriously injured. And one in three of these accidents could probably have been prevented with a blind-spot assistant.
The CarEye® Safety Angle (CSA for short) is a next-generation blind-spot assistant. It reliably detects pedestrians, cyclists and other objects in a significantly extended monitoring area. In dangerous situations, it warns drivers with acoustic and visual signals to avoid a possible collision.
It impressively demonstrates its performance in the ADAC/ÖAMTC test!

“Good systems never warn falsely”.
The test winner from EYYES produced no false alerts, was able to locate cyclists even at a distance of six metres from the truck, and the visual feedback to the driver is basically easy and understandable. With one exception: it is confusing that every time the system is activated in real road traffic, the two triangles of the signal generator first light up.” Quote ADAC test report
“The truck blind-spot assistants with a 2 or 3 in front of the decimal point in the test score are distinguished by their ability to distinguish between static objects and unprotected road users and never gave a false warning. In addition, the unprotected road user was detected in good time at almost all speeds, distances and test variants and the truck driver was made aware of this by means of differentiated visual and acoustic signalling.” Quote ADAC test report
