Intelligent Blind-Spot Assistant
The CarEye® Safety Angle solution from EYYES combines state-of-the-art artificial intelligence with regulatory compliance to increase fleet safety and minimise risks. The camera-based Blind-Spot Information System (BSIS) combined with the optional Moving-Off Information System (MOIS) and the Rear-view camera system eliminate blind spots and increase the safety of commercial vehicles in urban and high-risk areas. Ideal for buses, lorries and special vehicles, the system is designed for both OEMs and the aftermarket.
Our technology
The CarEye® Safety Angle is a next-generation AI-supported turning assistant that uses deep learning to recognise road users in real time and distinguish them from static objects. It precisely calculates their trajectory and the vehicle’s movement. All critical areas around the vehicle are covered by the blind-spot assistant in combination with MOIS & rear-view camera system and collision hazards are recognised in real time using artificial intelligence.

Components

AI-based Smart Wing
Heated side camera wing with double lens, captures the area next to your own vehicle and covers the blind spot.

Monitor
A 7″ monitor shows the monitoring area for optimum visibility.

Signaller
The signalling device emits visual and acoustic warnings to alert the driver to dangerous situations at an early stage. If there is a risk of collision, an additional acoustic signal is triggered.

Rearview camera
The optional reversing camera covers the area behind the vehicle and thus helps to avoid collisions with people or damage

MOIS-CAMERA
The optional MOIS camera monitors the area in front of the vehicle and helps to prevent collisions with pedestrians and cyclists.

+ Moving-Off Information System
The Moving OFF AI Assist R159 extension set supplements the turning assistant and ensures compliance with UN R159 regulations. The MOIS (Moving Off Information System) is primarily used to detect pedestrians and cyclists in the vehicle’s front blind spot and warns the driver specifically during approach manoeuvres.
+ Rearview Camera
This R158 reversing camera extension set shows the area behind the vehicle. The system is activated by the vehicle’s reverse gear signal and ideally monitors the area behind the vehicle to avoid potential collisions.
